It's a new year and time for resolutions and goals. It's time to create new habits. It's time to re-think how we do things.
If you're like me, it's easy to set work-related and health/fitness goals. It's important to set goals for FUN and CREATIVITY too! Since I teach art & craft classes, my home craft room is often a place I simply prepare for upcoming classes. While I thoroughly enjoy teaching and sharing my love for all things crafty, I really want AND NEED to also balance the work creativity with the personal creativity. So, what's a girl to do? Set goals!
Here's my Craft Room Goals for 2018:
- Have Class Samples done at least 30 days before class month
- Create 1 Video per month
- Prepare 4 Store Samples per month
- Spend 4 hours per month on personal projects
- Tidy one area/drawer/etc. per month
Like I already mentioned, I'm trying to balance the work-related creative activities with personal creative activities. Balance is always a struggle in everything we do, huh?
So, to help my be accountable for this desire for balance, I even created a chart that I'll share with you:
Well, wish me luck! And, I hope this blog entry finds you healthy and I hope you have a fabulous crafty year!
